CAR PARKING

For all Run/Walk participants, you will continue past the event base and take the first left up Ody Road. There will be ample car parking available in a paddock at the top of the hill and there will be marshals present to help guide you in. There will be mountain bikers travelling up this road and across the driveway you will be entering, so please drive carefully and give the riders plenty of space!

For all Multisporters please park either behind the event base or in the 4WD area adjacent in Taurikura Bay - follow signage and/or event staff instructions. We want to keep the local residents happy by avoiding too much disruption to their day. The car parking option at the event base or the 4WD area adjacent are for Multi-sport competitors only, to make it easier with bike and kayak drop offs etc.

EVENT TRANSPORT (For all Run/Walk participants)

The bus will pick you up from the parking location (see below) on Ody Road and take you to the start line in Urquhart’s Bay. Please allow plenty of time to park and board the bus which will take you to the start line in Urquharts Bay. We recommend allowing an hour to park, board the bus, be driven to the start and collect your race number and transponder then be briefed before the start. The buses will leave when full and will be on a continuous loop to and from the car parking to the event start location.

Feel free to take a bag with you and we will bring this back to the finish for you for after your race. There will also be buses travelling between the event base and the parking location (5min trip) throughout the afternoon, so you do not need to walk up the hill on tired legs.
